We're very excited to share Passion Planner's take on the world of digital planning. In this guide, you will learn how to download, unzip, and import your new Passion Planner Digital files into GoodNotes.

Please note that this guide mainly focuses on importing the Passion Planner Digital into GoodNotes. However, many of the steps below are easily applicable when using other apps.

1. Download Passion Planner Digital

After purchasing your Passion Planner Digital from our website, you will receive an order confirmation email from us with a link to download your files. Click on the banner that reads "DOWNLOAD YOUR DIGITAL GOODS HERE!"

You will be taken to a SendOwl webpage where you can download the files you purchased by clicking the button that reads "Download." From here, you can save the files wherever you want, although it's strongly recommended to download the files to your computer first instead of downloading directly to your device. 

Please note that the amount of downloads you have is limited. Please be aware of the number of downloads you have remaining. Once the number of remaining downloads reaches zero, you will not be able to download your files anymore. We highly encourage you to save your original files to a cloud storage service so that you can access it at your convenience.

2. Unzip the Passion Planner Digital Files

After you download the PP Digital files, you will notice that they come in a .zip format. To be able to import them into GoodNotes, you will need to unzip them. The unzipping process is different depending on what device you downloaded your PP Digital files onto.

iOS 13 or higher

Once you've downloaded your PP Digital files:

• Navigate to them in the "Files" app.
• Find your file and tap and hold it until a menu pops up. Tap "Uncompress."
• Wait for your PP Digital to be extracted from the .zip file.

This method will only work with iOS 13 or higher. If your device's operating system does not meet this requirement, you may have to unzip your PP Digital files from your computer (recommended) or download another app to unzip them. The devices listed below are incompatible with iOS 13:

• iPhone 5S (and older)
• iPhone 6/6 Plus
• iPad Mini 2
• iPad Mini 3
• iPad Air (2013)

macOS

Once you've downloaded your PP Digital files:

• Navigate to the files in Finder.
• Find your file and right-click it. Click "Open With" then click "Archive Utility (default)" or use your favorite unzipping tool.
• Wait for your PP Digital to be extracted from the .zip file.

If you intend to use GoodNotes on your iPad or iPhone, you may transfer these files onto your device via USB or AirDrop. Otherwise, if you intend to use GoodNotes on your Mac, you can move onto the next step.

Windows

Once you've downloaded your PP Digital files:

• Navigate to the files in Explorer.
• Find your file and right-click it. Click "Open With" then choose your favorite unzipping tool.
• Wait for your PP Digital to be extracted from the .zip file.

Since GoodNotes is an iOS/macOS exclusive app, you will need to transfer these files onto your iPad or iPhone via iTunes, iCloud, or another third-party cloud storage solution (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.). If you want to use PP Digital on a Windows device, we recommend using the Drawboard app.

3. Import your Passion Planner Digital, Digital Stickers, and Inserts

After unzipping the PP Digital files and transferring them onto your iPad or iPhone, you should see a series of folders with titles similar to "Inserts," "Ready Set Grow Sticker book," and "Weekly 2021 Annual" depending on the files you purchased. The next step is to import them into GoodNotes.

Please note that if you decide to use the Passion Planner Digital on two separate devices that have two different operating systems (ie, iOS and Android), they will not automatically sync with each other.

How to Import into GoodNotes

Once your files are on your iPad or iPhone, open GoodNotes and:

• Tap the large plus sign in the Documents tab and choose "Import."
• Tap "Select" in the upper right of the Files interface, select the PP Digital pdf that you want to open, and tap open
• This same process can be used to import stickers and other inserts.

Alternatively:

• Open GoodNotes and the Files app in a Split-view multitasking window.
• Tap and hold the PP Digital pdf that you want to open.
• Drag and drop the pdf into GoodNotes.
• This same process can be used to import stickers and other inserts.

Importing into Other PDF Readers

While the Passion Planner Digital was designed to work seamlessly on GoodNotes, you can still enjoy digital planning with Passion Planner using a range of different apps. From our testing, we know that the PP Digital is compatible with ZoomNotes, Noteshelf, Notability, Drawboard, Xodo, and most PDF readers. If you want to use PP Digital on a Windows device, we recommend using the Drawboard app.

Open your app of choice and:

• Press the "Import" button (or a similar function).
• Navigate to where you saved the PP Digital files, choose the PP Digital pdf that you want to open, and press "Open" (or a similar function).
• This same process can be used to import stickers and other inserts.
