9 Tips to Customize and Personalize Your Passion Planner
One of the defining qualities of the Passion Planner is how easy it is to customize. Our planner is more than a schedule keeper; it is the one place for all of your thoughts, creative brainstorms, and artistic expressions. Here are just a few ways you can personalize your Passion Planner.
1. Use stickers to bring more play into your day.
For all of you who adorned your notebooks with Lisa Frank stickers in the 90s, this one's for you! From the #MVPashFam Chelsea Brown’s Etsy shop, to our very own Ready Set Grow Sticker Book, there are a ton of options out there!
2. Use our free inserts to track your journey.
Nobody’s process looks the same, especially when it comes to pursuing their goals. Whether you’re on the road to financial freedom or on a personal fitness journey, we have an entire library of free downloadable trackers you can choose from.
3. Stay organized with our monthly tabs.
A #PashFam favorite, our new monthly tabs make it easy for you to plan ahead. The best part? They come in five different colors, and we dedicated an Instagram post to helping you figure out which color is right for your planner.
4. Color code your schedule.
In a recent #PashFam poll, 62% of our community claimed that they were proud color code experts. Color coding makes it simple for you to know what’s going on in your day at a quick glance, not to mention it’s a fun way to make Passion Planning your own. If color coding isn’t your thing, don’t worry! We have pen recommendations for both color coders and one pen wonders alike.
5. Exercise your imagination with a vision board.
Passion Planner is the vision board that goes with you wherever you go. The back of your front cover and blank pages in the back of the planner are the perfect location to let your imagination go wild. We also recommended vision boards in a recent article for folks healing from heartbreak because of its power to allow you to dream big.
6. Bind the free full Passion Planner PDF download.
When printing and binding your very own Passion Planner, you have plenty of options to choose from. Available in Dated Weekly, Undated Weekly, and Daily formats, there’s a structure that works for everyone. Oh, and did we forget to mention? We have full downloads available in Spanish, French, and Italian too.
7. Draw and doodle in it.
There is plenty of room to draw and doodle in your Passion Planner. Making time for your passions and creativity is the foundation on which Passion Planner was built. The Space of Infinite Possibility is included in every planner to provide an area for you to express yourself. Need some doodle ideas? Get some inspiration in our YouTube series, How to Draw with Passion Planner.
8. Create your own spreads in your dotted pages.
One of my personal favorite features of the Passion Planner is that it can also be used as a hybrid bullet journal. The dotted pages allow you to create your own systems of tracking, from reading lists to bucket lists. Be sure to follow our Instagram to get even more dotted page ideas!
9. Practice lettering and calligraphy.
Hand Lettering has made a comeback in recent years. If you want to channel your inner calligrapher, there are plenty of places to practice in your Passion Planner. Looking for resources to start lettering? Watch this Hand Lettering for Beginners video from our YouTube channel or use these lettering practice worksheets from our friends at Tombow.
No matter how you personalize your planner, there is not right or wrong way to plan. Remember: each planner is as unique as the person using it!
